About

Lucie is a writer and comedian hailing from Norwich, UK.

She began her comedy career with Cambridge Footlights at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe, and has gone on to write & produce for audio, stage and screen.

A natural both sides of the camera, her pithy self-produced comedy shorts Solitary Individual and van man character Matt Glove swept social media for their irreverent, self deprecating takes on the queer experience.

Lucie’s comedy shorts are preserved in the prestigious BFI webfilm archive: a national archive capturing the breadth of online British moving picture since the 90s. Only a few hundred videos were selected. Five of Lucie’s sit among them.

Producer of sell-out queer & alt comedy night Degenerates, creator of award winning crowdfunded audio comedy Football Crumpets, episode contributor to the APA award winning QueerAF & Trans+ History Week podcast, and presenter of her own five star rated confessional podcast, Lucie’s unique comic voice is unmissable.

Lucie can be contacted for writing and comedy enquiries at hey@lucieisle.co.uk
