Meet the Cast: Ugla Stefanía as Mitsy Pymm
Meet Ugla Stefanía Kristjönudóttir Jónsdóttir, who will be playing the socialite it-girl with a disdain for cliffs, caravans, and crumpets: Mitsy Pymm!
Follow me on kickstarter, and get ready to hear Ugla bring Mitsy to life!
Ugla Stefanía: Activist & Feminist
Ugla is a leading voice in LGBTQIA+ activism, journalism, filmmaking, and literature. Ugla’s an influential presence in advocating for transgender and non-binary rights, but they also have an unending love for bad reality TV.
With a passion for the Real Housewives, they’ll be using the opportunity to channel their inner housewife into the role. I’m honoured to be working with Ugla in Football Crumpets!
Ugla shares why they’re involved in Football Crumpets
"I love any opportunity to be a part of a creative project like this - which is unique, exciting and also quite frankly hilarious. I have always dreamed of doing voice acting, and as an avid fan of reality TV I will channel my inner Real Housewife for this role. So if you want to see some amazing trans comedy with a talented cast, you should definitely consider supporting this project."

Mitsy Pymm: Social Climber
Mitsy Pymm, on the other hand, is a Tatler reading, Daily Mail worshipping schmooze, who’s only interested if you’ve got connections in high society.
MITSY
[annoyed] Look, there are nasty little football stickers on every surface, the light fittings look like ashtrays, and that ugly old doily of an armchair, I think his grandmother died in it for god’s sake! You can see the grease mark where the head was.
Power Couple?
Mitsy married into the Pymm family for the kudos, but trust me, she hates the famous gin based liqueur, almost as much as her business-brained, brash, bullish husband Dickie Pymm (voiced by Lucie Isle). He thinks he’s a man about town, but he’s more of a clown.
DICKIE
Sorry yes, this is Mitsy, she’s my unofficial managing director aka wife. Got to keep her happy, she’s making all the big decisions today. And every day, mate. [laughs]
Back to Ugla
In addition to their activism, Ugla is an accomplished writer and creator. They’re a columnist in The Metro, a TedX speaker, and a director of My Genderation, a film collective highlighting trans experiences.
They’ve co-authored books such as "The Trans Teen Survival Guide" and "Trans Survival Workbook" providing essential resources to the trans community. Ugla’s achievements earned them a place on the BBC’s 100 Most Influential Women list in 2019. An accolade Mitsy Pymm could only dream of!
Ugla’s work encapsulates a blend of radical vulnerability, creativity, and unwavering advocacy for human rights, making them a vital voice in contemporary discussions on gender queerness.
